The XC40 Recharge Pure Electric powered is Volvo’s 1st battery-electric vehicle.
They’re coming. Little by little but undoubtedly, battery-electric powered motor vehicles (BEVs, or EVs) are making their way to Australia, in spite of the absence of federal, state and area authorities incentives that help boost the need for zero-tailpipe-emissions motor vehicles.
The point is, EV infrastructure is expanding from coast to coast, and carmakers stay confident that legislators will inevitably be a part of other nations in incentivising EV uptake in some type or yet another. Just after all, we are on the cusp of enormous wave of fresh new EVs, especially from Europe, Korea and China.
We’ll only see a trickle to begin with, but some are presently earmarked for an Australian launch in 2021.
