Senior chief in Cong Kerala unit quits, joins CPM

All India Congress Committee member and Kerala unit normal secretary Ok P Anil Kumar Tuesday stop the social gathering as a fallout of the discontent over the appointment of district committee chiefs within the state. Immediately after saying his exit from the Congress, Kumar joined CPI (M).

Kumar had final contested Assembly elections in 2011 in a shedding effort. A former Youth Congress state president, he has been sulking over his neglect within the social gathering.

In protest towards the DCC reconstitution, former KPCC secretary P S Prasanth and former Congress legislator A V Gopinath had earlier stop the social gathering. Prasanth, too, had joined the CPI(M).
