When Ziva Dhoni Shouted 'Papa, Papa' From The Stands To Cheer For MS Dhoni During An IPL Match

MS Dhoni has always proved that for him his country holds the first priority and everything else comes later. However, after becoming a father, things had changed for him and his heart surely had ached every time, he had left his daughter,  Ziva at home to fulfil his professional commitments. Ziva has always been fond of her daddy and we can often spot the daddy-daughter duo chilling. For every parent, watching your kids being proud of who you are and what you do is feeling beyond explanation. And for MS Dhoni, it must be a proud moment, every time, when he sees Ziva cheering for him. (Also Read: MS Dhoni’s Photo With Newborn Daughter, Ziva As He Covered Her In His Arms To Protect Her From Crowd)

We all remember how MS Dhoni had chosen his ‘National Duty’ above being with his pregnant wife, Sakshi Singh Dhoni when she was about to deliver their first child. It was in 2015, that Dhoni had refused to return home so that he can play the World Cup. As he keeps his mobile off during important tournaments, his family had to reach his best friend, Suresh Raina to give him the ‘good news’ of becoming a father to a baby girl. On February 6, 2015, Ziva Singh Dhoni had entered the world of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi Singh Dhoni and not only the couple, but their fans too love the little girl immensely.

Ziva has grown 6 years old now, but her cute antics still entice Dhoni and her fans. Every time she is spotted with her daddy or her IG handle gives us a glimpse into her life, her fans go crazy. Scrolling through our social media handles, we stumbled upon an adorable video of Ziva, cheering for her daddy, Dhoni from the stands during one of his IPL matches. A fan page of Dhoni, Sakshi and Ziva posted the video, where the baby girl can be seen standing on her mommy’s lap and shouting ‘Papa’ in her loudest voice, wearing a cute frock. Later, the crowd around her can also be heard cheering for Ziva’s papa. Take a look:

Ziva is the biggest cheerleader of her daddy, Dhoni and often we have spotted her visiting the stadium to cheer for him. On April 16, 2018, MS Dhoni had shared a video on his Instagram account, in which Ziva could be seen using her influencing power to convince one of Dhoni’s friends to get her papa off the pitch as she had wanted to hug him. Dhoni had captioned the video, “When Ziva wanted to give a hug to papa during the match.” (Don’t Miss: When Adorable Father-Daughter Moments Shared By MS Dhoni And Ziva Took The Internet By A Storm)

On August 21, 2018, Mahhi had shared a ‘very smart’ video of his daughter, Ziva on his IG handle. In the video, little Ziva could be seen in her school uniform directing her daddy where the balloons are, when her mumma, Sakshi, who was filming the video had asked, “Ziva, papa is good or bad?” To which, Ziva had said, “All of you are good.” Sakshi had again asked her, “I thought you were angry with papa.” Ziva had coyly replied, “I am not angry” and in return, had gotten bombarded with balloons by her daddy.

On September 9, 2020, Sakshi had taken to her daughter’s Instagram handle and had shared a cute video, wherein Ziva could be seen holding Dhoni’s sketch. In the video, we could hear Sakshi asking her daughter, “Who is in the sketch”. To which, Ziva had replied, “Papa”. On this, Sakshi had said, “Are you sure?” To this, Ziva had replied, “Mahendra Singh Dhoni.” The video was captioned as “Papa’s biggest fan.” (Don’t Miss: When Virat Kohli Shared Why He And Mahendra Singh Dhoni Were Scolded By Ziva Singh Dhoni For An Hour)
